Matt has over 14 years in the kitchen industry initially learning the trade at his father’s bistros before venturing solo.

Matt has built up a sound repertoire of culinary knowledge over the years learning about trends, techniques and most importantly, what works well on the palette.

Spending 3 weeks in Canada sampling a many steak houses gave him a real love and interest of what FirePit concept has to offer.

Over the last 5 years he has worked at prestigious local restaurants including Smoke BBQ and most recently The Summerhouse in Dore.
